Bollywood Hungama was the first one to break the big news about Kartik Aaryan teaming up with Karan Johar for a film directed by Sameer Vidwans. The makers have now announced that the film is quirkily titled Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri through a funny video. The film is produced by Johar’s Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures.

The video features Kartik’s voice as he reveals that he has had three break-ups till now and he hopes that the same doesn’t get repeated with her fourth girlfriend. He also says that he has taken “mummy kasam” to ensure that that doesn’t happen and that mumma’s boys can go to any lengths to keep a promise made to their moms.

Kartik shared the video on his social media with the caption, “Mummy ki khaayi hui kasam, yeh Mumma’s boy poori karke he rehta hai! Super excited to return to my fav genre Rom-com #TuMeriMainTeraMainTeraTuMeri… The biggest love story coming to cinemas in 2026.”

This film is Kartik, Sameer and Namah Pictures’ second association after the successful and acclaimed Satyaprem Ki Katha, which released last year. That film starred Kiara Advani. The leading lady for Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri is yet to be announced.

Dharma Productions & Namah Pictures present Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri which will be directed by Sameer Vidwans. Produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Shareen Mantri Kedia, Kishor Arora – this love story will release in 2026.

According to reliable sources, Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar are set to join hands on an action-packed love story directed by Satyaprem Ki Katha fame Sameer Vidhwans.

According to sources, Kartik and Karan have been discussing a collaboration for the longest time and things are finally in place. “Kartik loved the subject of Sameer Vidhwans. He was initially discussing the same with Sajid Nadiadwala, during the release of Satyaprem Ki Katha. However, recently, he took the subject to Karan Johar, who loved the idea and agreed to bankroll the film spearheaded by Kartik. The film will mark the reunion of Kartik and Sameer after Satyaprem Ki Katha,” a source told Bollywood Hungama exclusively.

The source informed that the film is among the most ambitious love stories of modern times, with a tone of adventure and action. “It’s an ambitious film to be made on a budget of Rs. 150 crores, and the entire team is very excited to bring the film to the audience in 2026. This could be Kartik’s next for the big screen after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,” the source told us further.

Kartik took his time to sign a feature film after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, and this is a script he has immense faith in. The film will be co-produced by Dharma Productions with Namah Pictures. Actress Kiara Advani has sparked controversy by praising choreographer Jani Master in a recent Instagram post. The actress, who is busy promoting her upcoming movie Game Changer, shared a behind-the-scenes video from her dance rehearsals, thanking Jani Master for his choreography. However, the choreographer’s legal history led to significant backlash online.

Backlash Over Jani Master Mention
In her Instagram post, Kiara wrote, “I remember seeing @alwaysjani master’s choreography and thinking how are we going to do this, but that’s the beauty of our job, always learning something new.” While the actress expressed her admiration for his work, social media users were quick to criticize her for associating with Jani Master, who has faced serious allegations under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

Jani Master was accused by a former employee of sexually assaulting her when she was 16 years old. Following these allegations, his National Film Award for choreographing the song ‘Megham Karukkatha’ was suspended by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Fans Call Out Kiara’s Post
Internet users expressed their disappointment in the comments section of Kiara’s post.
