Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal reveal the name of their daughter, Zuneyra Ida Fazal
Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on July 16, 2024. Just a few days later, on July 20, the couple shared a joint statement with their fans on social media. In a recent interview with Vogue India, the couple proudly revealed the name of their newborn daughter, Zuneyra Ida Fazal. Richa had announced her pregnancy in February 2024.
In their conversation with Vogue India, Ali Fazal shared that having a baby has filled a void he hadn’t even realized was there, describing the experience as amazing. He also admitted that balancing work has become more challenging, as he now experiences anxiety whenever he leaves home, constantly wanting to be with his baby and Richa.
Richa Chadha, on the other hand, explained that she deliberately avoided reading too much about parenting to prevent feeling overwhelmed by the vast amount of information. She believes that following her natural instincts is the best approach to motherhood.
Richa Chadha, the Fukrey actress, mentioned that while parenting based on instinct involves some trial and error, it ultimately helps in figuring things out. She shared that while the nurses taught her the basics, the natural instinct to care for her baby, Zuni, came to her naturally. Richa emphasized that she trusts nature’s intelligence, preferring not to interfere too much. Instead, she observes what works best for both herself and Zuni, and so far, her approach has been successful.
Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal first met on the sets of Fukrey. They got married in 2020 through the Special Marriage Act and later celebrated their union in 2022. On the work front, Richa was recently seen portraying the character of Lajjo in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazar, which is currently streaming on Netflix.
Ali Fazal, who was last seen in Mirzapur 3, has an exciting lineup of upcoming projects. He stars in the period fantasy thriller Rakht Brahmand alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu, directed by Raj & DK and helmed by Rahi Anil Barve, known for Tumbbad. The film is expected to be a thrilling ride.
Additionally, Ali will appear in Anurag Basu’s Metro… In Dino, which boasts an ensemble cast featuring Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Konkona Sensharma, and Fatima Sana Shaikh, among others.

Shah Rukh Khan receives death threat; Mumbai Police launches investigation
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been targeted with a death threat, prompting a swift response from Mumbai Police. According to sources, an unidentified individual, later identified as Faizan from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, made a threatening call to Bandra Police Station, demanding Rs 50 lakh.
Case Registered, Investigation Underway
A case has been registered under sections 506(4) and 511 (attempt to commit offense punishable under section 506(4)) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Bandra Police Station. Mumbai Police have dispatched a team to Raipur to investigate the matter. No arrests have been made yet.
Security Concerns may have impacted SRK’s public appearance on his birthday
This is not the first time where the superstar has been threatened. In the past, Shah Rukh Khan revealed had been receiving death threats in 2023 following the success of his films Pathaan and Jawan. Consequently, he was provided with Y+ security in October 2023. The actor has since been surrounded by tight security, with security guards deployed around him. Speculations further suggest that Shah Rukh Khan skipped greeting his fans on his birthday outside his home, Mannat, due to security concerns. Although his team hasn’t released any statements or made any claims on the matter, the increased security measures underscore the gravity of the situation.
Police takes matter seriously
Followed by the threats given to Baba Siddiqui, who was also close to Shah Rukh Khan, and the continuous threats given to Salman Khan, Mumbai Police are taking this threat seriously and are working to apprehend the culprit. The investigation is ongoing, and further details are awaited.
About upcoming projects
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is expected to return to the big screen next year with King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Siddharth Anand. The film will also star Suhana Khan in a key role along with Munjya fame Abhay Verma and Abhishek Bachchan as the main antagonist.

Karan Johar marks new era of romance with Lakshya and Ananya Panday; announces Chand Mera Dil
Karan Johar and Dharma Productions are all set to collaborate with their favourite talents Lakshya and Ananya Panday in a beautiful romantic tale. As the producer-filmmaker have been teasing audiences on his social media platform about Dharma’s return to the romance genre, the filmmaker has now announced a new project titled Chand Mera Dil featuring the Kill fame action star and the popular Gen Z actress.
On Thursday, the official social media handle of Karan Johar and Dharma Productions shared multiple posters from their new film Chand Mera Dil which explores the never-seen-before chemistry of Ananya Panday and Lakshya. As promised by the filmmaker, the posters showcase a poignant, fun, contemporary tale of romance between two youngsters – a boy next door and a simple girl next door. Ananya also appears in an ethnic style, which is quite different from her recent releases like Kho Gaye Hum Kahan and CTRL.

Interestingly, Lakshya, who was supposed to embark on his filmy journey with another Dharma Productions venture, has marked his second collaboration with the production house with this romantic drama. While audiences got to witness his action-packed side in the gruesome action thriller Kill (2023) that even received love at film festivals, the former television star promises to showcase his romantic side, if the posters are anything to go by. Similarly, Ananya too will be seen in a quintessential romantic drama for the first time. While the actress has explored themes of romance along with comedy multiple times in the past, this will be her first brush with a sweet love story.
While most of the details of the film are kept under wraps, the film features a tagline “Pyaar thoda paagal hona padta hai (One should be a little mad in love)”. Directed by Vivek Soni, the makers have revealed that they are aiming for release in 2025.
