24Six Films, Australia in association with Drishya Sharma Productions, has unveiled the first look of their first feature film, Hindi-Vindi. This highly anticipated film, which secured Development Funding from Screen Australia, is the largest collaboration of the Indian and the Australian film industry, in recent times. The film has been created by Sydney-based promising filmmakers including Director Ali Sayed, writer Jay Sharma and producers Aniket Deshkar, Anil Sharma and Sunny Shah (Mumbai).

Hindi-Vindi features an ensemble cast of talented actors including Neena Gupta, and Mihir Ahuja, Hindi-Vindi is poised to be a cinematic masterpiece set to captivate audiences worldwide. The film also marks the acting debut of renowned Australian music icon Guy Sebastian in a pivotal role.

The first look poster, released today, showcases the film’s lead stars, Neena Gupta, Mihir Ahuja and Guy Sebastian, in a breathtakingly intense and visually stunning frame that perfectly captures the essence of Hindi-Vindi. The poster hints at a gripping storyline, rich with emotion, drama, and music that will leave a lasting impression on audiences of all ages.

“We are incredibly excited to share the first look of Hindi-Vindi with the world,” said Director Ali Sayed. “This film is a labour of love, and we can’t wait for audiences to embark on this journey with us. The first look is just a glimpse of what’s in store, and we believe it will leave everyone eagerly anticipating the release.”

In addition to the talented cast, Hindi-Vindi features a team of exceptional creatives behind the scenes. The film’s music is composed by the award-winning musician duo Javed-Mohsin and Guy Sebastian, himself. The film is currently in the final stages of post-production under the able hands of acclaimed Film Editor, Steven Bernard.

The film is a musical drama exploring intergenerational language barriers within the migrant community. The film’s unique narrative, cross-cultural appeal and Indo-western musical fusion are set to resonate with audiences both in India and among Indians globally. Hindi-Vindi is tentatively set to hit theatres in September 2024, close to Hindi Diwas, celebrating the Hindi Language.

Actress – Singer Elnaaz Norouzi has made her mark on the acting front. Recently, she broke the internet with her rendition of ‘Jamal Kudu, Jamal Jamaloo’. We hear that the actress was seen going on Los Angeles trips often recently and it seems that her penchant for music could be the reason for it and sources close to her have hinted at her planning something big on the international front.

A source close to her, revealed, “Elnaaz has been meeting a lot of music producers while she is in LA. She is spotted with renowned names and is maybe discussing a possible collaboration. There are murmurs that she will be possibly collaborating with Rihanna music producer and will be dropping an announcement soon.” Just a couple of days, the actress-singer shared BTS video of her first single ‘La La Love’ on social media wherein she penned a heartfelt note opening about her emotions associated with music and in the same post, she also confessed about kicking off work on her first album.

Her note read, “2 years back, my very first Single released. Oh boy, what a journey it was to turn Singer, Director and Producer for this one! I had so many different emotions when I first decided to start singing and take it up seriously, I always wondered how it will be perceived and I made sure I work on my voice as much as I can – as I still do and in fact, looking back today , I am so proud to see where it’s taken me… I’m working on my first album right now and I can’t wait to release more music.” Along with that, she also expressed gratitude towards the support she received during this journey.

The upcoming film Badtameez Gill, starring Vaani Kapoor, Aparshakti Khurana, and Paresh Rawal, has completed its filming in just 32 days. The production took place in two contrasting locations: Bareilly in northern India and London. The film is set to hit cinemas on November 29, 2024.

Badtameez Gill features an impressive cast, including Sheeba Chadha and Monica Chaudhary, alongside the lead trio. The film is produced by Saga Films Ltd, Vinay Aggarwal, and Nicky Vicky Bhagnani Films, with co-producers Mehnaaz Shaikh, Anand Mehta, Prakash Bijlani, Kapil Arora, and Dinesh Gupta.
Details Of Aparshakti Khurana and Paresh Rawal’s Roles
Aparshakti Khurana, known for his role in the Prime Video series Jubilee, will be playing the brother of Vaani Kapoor’s character. Meanwhile, veteran actor Paresh Rawal will portray her father.

Navjot Gulati, who has writing credits for Running Shaadi and Ginny Weds Sunny, and directing credits for Jai Mummy Di and the upcoming Pooja Meri Jaan, is at the helm of Badtameez Gill. His direction promises to bring a unique touch to the narrative, set against the backdrop of Bareilly and London.
Producers Praise Vaani Kapoor
Previously, Nickky Bhagnani and Viicky Bhagnani expressed their enthusiasm for Vaani Kapoor’s role in the film, stating, “Vaani Kapoor is headlining our ambitious project Badtameez Gill that is set to go on floors in the first week of May. Vaani was the first and the only choice, and she is perfect for the part in every way. Vaani will showcase a totally different side to her acting in our film that has its heart in the right place.”
