Actress Kiara Advani has cemented her influence beyond the silver screen, receiving the prestigious “Brand Personality of the Year” award at the Economic Times Brand Equity Brand World Summit ’24. Her association with a diverse range of brands, from established names like Mango, Myntra, TRESemme, Lenskart, drools, Mohey, Caprese and SENCO and many more positions her at the forefront of brand building in this digital era and the actress received this recognition for these strong brand partnerships.

During the interview segment at the Summit she spoke about her long-term brand associations and said, “It’s been 10 years that I’ve been working in the industry now and I believe that all of these brands that have come my way have been very special and most of them have been brands that I’ve been working with for years now.” Talking about her first brand association with the heritage brand Pond’s she said, “This year was really special…my first ever brand endorsement was for a brand called Pond’s…and I was on the brand for many, many years and then we had a short gap and this year I’m back on the brand. So, I think there’s something special…I always believed in them, they always believed in me.”

The actress also revealed that one of her biggest strengths as a brand ambassador is her authenticity. She is often seen wearing and using the very brands she endorses in her personal life. “I think when you use your own products, and when you go out there and they see it beyond just the ads that are running on TV or print, there’s a certain connect with the audience, they feel like, okay, she actually believes in it, she’s not just selling another product, and I think that authenticity comes through eventually”, she added.

She also mentioned about her thoughtful process before endorsing a brand and how she takes a 360-degree approach, truly embodying the brand spirit. She emphasized how she thinks from all perspectives and becomes an active part of the brand family, putting her all into the partnership, whether it’s the creative process or the consumer feedback she receives online.  “I believe you do something, you do it wholeheartedly, so if I’m on board, then I feel like I’m as much an owner as the brand is…and the consumers feel it at the end of the day. They feel you’re connected with the brand,” she asserted.

Kiara concluded by speaking about how to appeal to the evolving needs of consumers today and stated, “Once you understand who the consumer is what are their needs and what that gap is or what is it that they’re looking for, I believe we’ll be able to reach them, make them feel heard, valued, understood, and give them what they need. Because in the end of the day, we’re all consumers of various products.”

Mumbai Police has filed a massive 1,735-page chargesheet against nine accused, including six arrested individuals and three wanted persons, in connection with the firing incident outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence in Bandra in April. The chargesheet, which also includes the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, was filed at the special MCOC court reportedly.

Chargesheet Details

According to recent reports, the chargesheet, filed in a special MCOC court, includes various investigation documents incorporated in three volumes. The evidence, as per these reports, includes statements of 46 witnesses and statements of witnesses under section 164 of CrPC recorded before the magistrate. Furthermore, confessional statements under the MCOC (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime) Act, 22 panchanamas, and technical evidence are also part of these chargesheet documents. The chargesheet will be scrutinized by the court, and the next steps in the legal process will be determined accordingly. The recent development in the case marks a significant milestone in the investigation into the firing incident outside Salman Khan’s residence.

Salman Khan Firing incident

Two motorcycle-borne men fired five rounds outside Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Bandra in the early hours of April 14. The news came in after Salman Khan and his family were threatened continuously last year with the superstar even applying for a weapons licence for his family’s protection and statement.

Khan too had revealed this information during the statement given to the police in June, wherein he had opened up about the past threats he had received from the gang of the jailed gangster. These threats included a letter found near his residence in June 2022 and a threat issued by fugitive gangster Goldy Brar in 2023. As per a chargesheet which was filed earlier this month, some more shocking details were revealed wherein it read that Bishnoi has even issued Rs. 25 lakhs bounty on Salman Khan.

This prompted more questions from the interviewee who was curious to know about this group.

Although Nora refrained from sharing details including the name, the actress did drop a hint about the collaboration. She said, “I can’t tell you because if I tell you I will have to expose the name of the project and I don’t want to do that. But, I have to tell you guys that this project with Karan and Badshah is fire. FIRE!!!” However, it seems that fans will have to wait for some time before this ‘project’ is released. While Nora revealed that all of this is still pretty new, the actress-dancer did stress that she has been asking them to kick start the ‘video. “We just made the group. We are going to shoot the video soon. We are just planning that”.

Major news about filmmaker Aditya Dhar coming up with a multi-starrer action drama Dhurandhar starring Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan and Arjun Rampal was out today. The update sent a wave of excitement among the fans who are expecting another winner from Dhar.

Now, we have learnt that Akshaye Khanna has also been signed on for the project. While the character he will portray is not yet known, it will be interesting to see him a part of a film that also stars the likes of Ranveer, Dutt, Madhavan and Rampal.

As per reports, Dhurandhar will see Ranveer play an intelligence officer and the film is said to be a fast-paced mission-based entertainer. It is also reported that the plot will take place on foreign shores as well, which speaks about its grand scale, and that the pre-production is already begun.

Aditya Dhar will be producing the movie with his brother Lokesh Dhar under their banner B62 Studios. Reports state that they would be collaborating with a major studio for this movie.

Dhurandhar will be Dhar’s next directorial venture after the immensely successful Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019). Based on the aftermath of the Uri attacks, the film starred Vicky Kaushal in the lead. Earlier this year, Dhar and his banner tasted success through their production Article 370, which saw his wife and actress Yami Gautam in the lead.
