Bollywood playback singer Alka Yagnik shared a personal note on Instagram, revealing a battle with a rare hearing disorder. The news comes as a shock to fans who have enjoyed her melodious voice in countless films for decades.

Yagnik described a sudden and alarming incident that led to her diagnosis. “A few weeks ago, as I walked out of a flight, I suddenly felt I was not able to hear anything,” she wrote in the heartfelt post. Doctors later diagnosed her with a rare form of sensory neural hearing loss, attributed to a viral attack.

The singer expressed her struggle to come to terms with this unexpected setback. “This sudden, major setback has caught me completely unaware,” she stated. Yagnik requested prayers and well wishes from her fans and colleagues as she grapples with the condition.

Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan, after a busy 2024 with Siddharth Anand’s action flick Fighter and currently deep into Yash Raj Films’ War 2, Roshan is setting his sights on his next big project. According to a report by Peeping Moon, the actor is in discussions for a potential collaboration with director Kabir Khan for a post-apocalyptic thriller.

The report suggests that the collaboration is still in its early stages. Roshan and Khan have reportedly met several times over the past few months, discussing various ideas and potential projects. “Talks are at the primary stage right now, but they’re developing projects together and are hopeful that they come to fruition,” revealed an industry source to the publication.

The source further elaborated on Roshan’s characteristic approach to project selection, stating, “Hrithik usually spends lots of time with his directors before committing to a project, so nothing can be said definitely at this moment, but things have progressed in a positive direction so far.”

While details regarding the potential project’s genre or theme are yet to be revealed, the prospect of this collaboration has movie buffs eagerly anticipating further developments. Roshan’s upcoming release, War 2, is slated for a 2025 Independence Day weekend release, keeping him occupied until September 2024. Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan are set to reunite in the much-anticipated sequel to the 2019 comedy hit De De Pyaar De. The sequel, currently in production, brings a fresh twist to the story with Madhavan joining the cast as Rakul Preet Singh’s father.
