Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: After Shakti Arora, Bhavika Sharma to exit the show, reveal reports

Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma, who replaced as the leads after Neil Bhatt and Ayesha Singh, in the popular Star Plus show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin may be bidding adieu very soon. While audiences loved the pair of IshVi aka Ishaan and Savi, leading man Shakti Arora recently confirmed that the makers are planning a generational leap. While the actor confirmed his own exit from the show, reports have now confirmed that Bhavika Sharma too will be quitting as the leading lady.

According to these reports, it is also being said that the makers of the show are currently on the lookout for a new pair of leads. Confirming these details, a source close to the production house, told ETimes, “There was not much story left to be explored with the current cast and so the production house has chosen to take a leap and replace the entire cast. Not just Shakti Arora but also Bhavika Sharma will exit the show in a month. The show was doing well but not as good as the earlier season which had Neil Bhatt and Ayesha Singh playing the lead roles.”

The source went on to add, “The ratings had dipped and after trying many twists and turns, the makers felt that there was nothing much left to be explored with Ishaan-Savi’s love story. The entire Bhosale family including actors Nimai Bali and Vaishali Thakkar. The makers have planned a new story and are currently auditioning for lead actor and actress.” However, there has been no official confirmation from Bhavika Sharma as yet about her exit.

For the unversed, the ongoing love triangle in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin focuses on Savi and Ishaan, who are now officially divorced, with the latter being engaged to his old flame Reeva Marathe played by Sumit Singh. While Ishaan has realized his love for his ex-wife, he is yet to reveal it to her.  On the other hand, he is also trying to deal with the ruckus caused by the obsessed police officer Bhanwar Patil aka Karanvir Bohra, who will stop at nothing to get the love of his life – Savi. The Star Plus show airs from Monday to Sunday at 8 pm.

The sequel to the 2019 hit film De De Pyaar De, titled De De Pyaar De 2, has officially begun filming in Mumbai. The news was confirmed to Bollywood Hungama that the team commenced shooting with a traditional Mahurat Puja ceremony. Actor Anil Kapoor added a special touch to the occasion by gracing the event and giving the ceremonial first clap.

Kangana Ranaut clinches landslide victory in Mandi as BJP candidate leading by 70,000 votes: “This is my janmabhoomi”

Kangana Ranaut clinches landslide victory in Mandi as BJP candidate leading by 70,000 votes: “This is my janmabhoomi”

Actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut has emerged victorious in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi constituency. Running on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ticket, Ranaut defeated her closest rival, Congress’ Vikramaditya Singh, by a significant margin of 72,088 votes.

According to ANI, in her victory speech, Ranaut emphasized her commitment to the region. “Mandi has not taken kindly to the insults for daughters,” she declared. “As far as my departure to Mumbai is concerned, this (Himachal Pradesh) is my ‘janmabhoomi’ and I will continue to serve people here. So, I am not going anywhere. Perhaps, someone else will have to pack their bags and leave.”

The contest in Mandi was highly anticipated, featuring two prominent figures: Kangana Ranaut and Vikramaditya Singh. Singh, representing the Congress, comes from a storied political lineage. His father, Virbhadra Singh, was a towering figure in Himachal Pradesh politics, making this election not just a political contest but also a clash of legacy versus new-age charisma.

Throughout the campaign, both candidates emphasized their vision for Mandi’s development. Ranaut’s campaign was marked by promises of infrastructural development, better healthcare, and education facilities, alongside her commitment to women’s empowerment. In her speeches, she often highlighted her journey from a small-town girl to a Bollywood star. Singh, on the other hand, relied on his deep-rooted connections and his father’s legacy to garner support.
