According to India Today report, Television heartthrob Nakuul Mehta is set to captivate audiences once again in Karan Johar’s latest web series venture, Daring Partners, as he steps into the lead role alongside actresses Diana Penty and Tamannaah Bhatia. After spreading his charm on television, Nakuul Mehta is all set to treat his fans by featuring in a new upcoming web show, Daring Partners.

The plot of Daring Partners will revolve around two best friends embarking on a journey as business partners to establish an alcohol startup. The series unfolds the journey and challenges of women crafting their destiny in a male-dominated industry. As per the portal’s report, auditions are still underway to lock one more character.

The actor has had an illustrious career in the telly world and has gained immense love from his fans. Not only his acting mettle but his anchoring skills have also been applauded by the viewers. Bankrolled by Dharmatic Entertainment, Daring Partners will be helmed by Archit Kumar and Nishant Naik. The web show is written by Nandini Gupta, Mithun Gangopadhyay, and Aarsh Vora. Daring Partners will stream on Amazon Prime.

Nakuul Mehta has established himself as a multi-talented star and promises to entertain in the future as well. Time and again, he has proved his versatility and won the hearts of the viewers with his onscreen performances, from Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara to Ishqbaaaz and various web shows like I Don’t Watch TV and Never Kiss Your Best Friend.

In a recent interview with Puja Talwar, Richa Chadda, when asked about Nora Fatehi’s take on feminism, called it ‘really a not real understanding’. “The cute thing about feminism is that it accepts those that seek the benefits of feminism but deny being a feminist. The reason why someone is able to have a career, choose what they want to wear, work where they want to be independent, have those choices is because of feminism and because of predecessors who decided that women need to be out there working jobs, not just being at home. So, I think it’s a misguided reaction to the visual of some misinformed bra-burning chaos from the late ’60s. It’s not really a real understanding,” she answered.

Nora Fatehi earlier appeared on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast where she said, “This idea of I don’t need anybody. Feminism. I don’t believe in this sh*t. In fact, I think, feminism f**ked up our society. The idea of being inherently completely independent and not having to get married and have kids and not having the male and female dynamics at home where the man is the provider, a breadwinner and the woman is the nurturer. I don’t believe in people who think that’s not true. I think women are nurturers, yes, they should go to work and have their own life and be independent but to a certain extent.”

Nora also added, “They should also be ready to take on the role of being a mother, a wife and a nurturer. Just like a man should be ready to take the role of being a provider, a breadwinner and a father and a husband. We call it an old-school, traditional way of thinking. I call it the normal way of thinking. It’s just that feminism fucked it up a little bit. We are all equal in more sentimental things but in societal things, we are not equal. Feminism inherently, on the base level, is great. I also advocate for women’s rights. I also want girls to go to school. However, when feminism becomes radical, it becomes dangerous for the society.”

Richa Chadha has always been very vocal when comes the feminism and women’s issues. In the interview she contradicted with Fatehi’s statement and told that she didn’t fully agree with it. “All roles are defined, not as gender roles, but as, just as people who are sharing the responsibility of bringing a child into the world. And I don’t fully agree with this, women should be this way. And not this way. I’m surprised it was said at all, actually,” she said.

Both the actors have recently been seen on the screen. While Nora was recently seen in Kunal Kemmu’s directorial debut Madgaon Express, Richa was greatly appreciated by the viewers for her role as Lajjo in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi.

The upcoming episode of Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show promises a royal comedy affair as the stars of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much talked-about series, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, take centre stage. Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hyadri, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Segal, and Richa Chadha will grace the show, offering glimpses into their personal lives and sharing anecdotes from their recent collaboration with the renowned filmmaker.

In a promotional video shared by Netflix, Richa Chadha reveals the dedication required for her role, confessing to a staggering 99 retakes for a scene in Heeramandi. Sonakshi Sinha adds a touch of humour by playfully expressing her eagerness for marriage, setting the stage for a delightful interaction. The cast’s camaraderie shines through as they join Kapil Sharma on stage, exchanging banter and laughter. The promo features a playful skit where Krushna Abhishek, dressed as an air hostess, invites the Heeramandi stars to indulge in paani puris at gate no. 20 of the airport. Kapil Sharma, taking on the role of a paani puri vendor, playfully refuses to serve Sonakshi Sinha when she addresses him as ‘bhaiya’, adding to the comic charm of the show.

The episode promises a blend of laughter and entertainment, with special appearances by Sunil Grover and Kiku Sharda, adding to the comic extravaganza. From dance performances to hilarious skits, the audience can expect an evening filled with laughter and memorable moments.

Ever since the first announcement of Sanki has happened there has been a lot of buzz about the unusual pair of Ahan Shetty and Pooja Hegde. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala plans to kickstart the schedule on 6th June with a special action-designed sequence with an international designer Kecha Khamphakdee.

A source close to the development added, “The team is all set to kickstart a week-long Mumbai schedule with a lot of action sequences designed by Kecha and then followed by a Goa schedule. The duo’s chemistry is anticipated to sizzle on screen, adding an extra layer of excitement to the project.” It is going to be a very different world of Sanki which the audience will experience with this film.”

Sanki is poised to be a high-octane thriller, promising audiences a rollercoaster ride of adrenaline-pumping action sequences and gripping drama. With Sajid Nadiadwala at the helm, known for his penchant for delivering blockbuster hits, expectations are running high for this film to deliver on its promise of entertainment excellence. Sanki has blocked Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2025 for its release.
