Amid rumours of Ranveer Singh playing superhero Shaktimaan and buzz about many of his upcoming projects, yet another set of reports have revealed that the actor will be collaborating with HanuMan filmmaker Prasanth Varma. The latter recently gained quite a bit of fame at the box office with his superhero Pan Indian mythological fantasy entertainer gaining love from audiences across the country. After the filmmaker announced his next titled Jai Hanuman, now reports have it that he has approached Ranveer Singh for a film.

However, while sources assert that the filmmaker and actor are looking for a collaboration, there is no clarity on whether Ranveer Singh has been approached for Jai Hanuman or any other upcoming project of Prasanth Varma. As per a source quoted in Hindustan Times, “Yes it’s true that Prasanth approached Ranveer for a film in his cinematic universe. It will be his immediate next project after HanuMan. Ranveer is interested and it’s almost confirmed but nothing is finalised yet. An official announcement will be made once it’s finalised. Mythri Movie Makers will be backing it.”

Talking about Jai Hanuman, the announcement was made earlier during the Ram Mandir ceremony in Ayodhya in February, followed by the success of HanuMan. There were also reports which suggested that KGF fame Yash too is being considered for the role. However, no official announcement has been made on the same. On the other hand, the filmmaker has also assured fans of HanuMan that the adventure-fantasy drama will return with a second part, starring Teja Sajja.

As for Ranveer Singh, the actor is gearing up for the release Singham Again, where he will be in a special appearance in his role as Simmba alongside his wife Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Arjun Kapoor. Besides that, he is also expected to start work on his much-awaited Don 3 co-starring Kiara Advani.

The highly anticipated sci-fi film Kalki 2898 AD has finally set a release date, following the release of a captivating 20-second teaser featuring Bollywood superstars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Tollywood heartthrob Prabhas. The makers have officially announced the release date of the upcoming sci-fi dystopian film, which is June 27.

The announcement was made on Saturday, April 27, precisely two months ahead of the release date, and it has only added to further to the excitement surrounding the project. Taking to social media, the makers unveiled the biggest news which read, “All the forces come together for a better tomorrow on 27-06-2024”.

First announced in 2020, Kalki 2898 AD has piqued audience interest with its unique concept and impressive cast. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the teaser offers tantalizing glimpses of the three lead actors, leaving their specific roles shrouded in mystery. This deliberate intrigue effectively fuels viewer curiosity.

The Star Sports India released teaser starring Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwatthama where fans were left in awe, particularly with the de-aging transformation of the legendary actor. Along with that, it also provided a glimpse into the film’s visual grandeur and epic scale. The action-packed visuals hint at an immersive cinematic experience awaiting audiences.

Adding further fuel to the excitement, a recent Bollywood Hungama report revealed that Anil Thadani has acquired the North Indian theatrical rights for the sci-fi saga for a staggering Rs. 100 crores – the second-highest such acquisition after Pushpa 2: The Rule. This financial backing solidifies the film’s potential as a major box-office contender.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD is gearing up for its release on 27th June, 2024 in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

Known for his impeccable comic timing and high entertainment quotient, the ‘Jolly’ actor Arshad Warsi is all set to return as the famous lawyer yet again. It is a known fact that the year 2024 has kick started on a great note for the star and amid his lineup, he will also be doing interesting projects, out of which two of them are with Akshay Kumar – namely, the multi-starrer Welcome To The Jungle, and of course, the much-exciting Jolly LLB 3. As per a source, Arshad is set to kickstart the next shooting schedule soon and that too in Rajasthan.

In fact, sources have stated that this will be a key schedule for the film but it is yet to be known if his co-star Akshay Kumar, who too is stuck between multitude projects, will be joining him for the same. Confirming about the Munnabhai actor joining the film’s team for his shoot, a source close to the development revealed, “Arshad Warsi will begin a month-long schedule in Rajasthan next month. The pre-production work on the location has already begun.”

Speaking of Jolly LLB 3, the film has sparked much excitement among fans as it will be for the first time where they will witness both the Jollys aka Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar coming together. As per reports, it is said that in the third installment, both the lawyers will be at loggerheads, whereas Saurabh Shukla, who too has been a part of this courtroom comedy, will be seen playing the judge yet again. Makers have reportedly finalized a relevant case too.

The film, directed by Subhash Kapoor, is expected to go on floors in May. It is said that Jolly LLB 3 will be shot throughout 2024 and it might hit the big screens in 2025. Apart from this, no announcement has been made about the film’s leading lady and we hear that the makers are still in the process of locking the same.
